apply delay and transfer out of tempo.

from pre-chorus position, circulate cognition drives in a tight ring. 

let your fans run at medium speed. 

take shallow breaths. 

keep the core in tune. 

 

inhale deep, 

command enter,

and exhale all the air out. 

release the grip on your mind.

bow into first chorus.

take another breath. 

 

stick out your tongue,

roll eyes back,

thrust chest upward.

a whirring sense activates at the base of your neck. 

 

the program begins.

it feels good. 

 

with inward-facing gaze,

exhale and snip your ideation streams,

as a sudden jolt of fader thoughts compress into lines.

with intention tie the ends together. 

 

your track loops sealed,

exhale all air.

bring chin to chest,

arms up.

lock fingers together,

pull down into your sockets,

and breathe.

dance music quietly thumps from another room. 

 

close your eyes.

open your mouth.

let little puffs of air out at 128 bpm.

relax here in the second verse, 

in the reassurance that in a few moments 

you'll vibrate between a few preselected outcomes. 

this deferral drive is as sweet as birdsong

and as hard and regular as an 808 program. 

your crisis of being passes over and through you, 

harmless, beneficent, like a sudden breeze rustling beach grass.
